Alexander, sir Harold
► (1891-1969) Mariscal británico. Considerado uno de los más brillantes estrategas de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Organizó, en 1940, la defensa y evacuación de Dunkerque. En 1942 se le confió el mando del ejército aliado de Oriente Medio, expulsó a los alemanes de Libia y Túnez. Fue vizconde de Túnez y gobernador general de Canadá 1946-52.
